Motostrano has been rolling out the Roland Sands Jackets

Roland Sands Rocker Jacket

for the past 3 weeks or so. We’re excited to say that 2 new jackets have hit our showroom and they’re excellent.

The Roland Sands Rocker Jacket is distinguished by it’s slant side sipper and burly leather. It’s distressed leather looks like an old friend on the hanger and feels all broken-in and soft. Soft liner and it smells like real good leather, as a jacket should.

Roland Sands Hesher Jacket

If you don’t own a motorcycle yet, you’ll want to get one just so you can wear this jacket. But, if you don’t own a bike, you can still buy this jacket and wear it, because it’s the kind of jacket you can wear off-bike and not look out of place or feel uncomfortable.

The Roland Sands Hesher Jacket is a lighter weight jacket that looks like corduroy, but in fact is made from Duck Canvas. It’s light weight, but has a hard feel to it. Old-school classic motorcycle design. Easy to wear on or off a bike. The Hesher prices out at $200, which is a good deal for a well-made and styled jacket like this.

Installing Rizoma goods onto your motorcycle should be done in the company of a fine wine, perhaps a cigar, or perhaps a beautiful nude woman. In fact, that’s the advertising poster I’d like to see. A well-lit garage. A man admiring or fine-tuning the parts he just installed on to his motorcycle. Directly behind the bike, a beautiful nude woman, posing in front of the artist.

It takes a lot to come up with functional, aesthetically pleasing parts that motorcycle enthusiasts will actually buy and put on their motorcycles. Most companies dabble in this or that aspect of the trade with some mirrors, or some levers, or some billet covers and sliders. No one has managed to come close to the pace and variety offered by Rizoma. Their catalog of parts for motorcycles is huge and ever-changing. Their parts are varied and diverse and really allow you to dial in the look of your bike with some semi-rare metals of this Italy-based design-house.

Rizoma makes art. Their products are made for the street and they’re made to be looked at as much as they are made to perform.

Rizoma mirrors are wonder to look at. Where mirrors are almost universally made from plastic, Rizoma molds theirs from aluminum and offers them up in a variety of colors.

Levers, handlebars, rearsets, grips make up the controls portion of their catalog. Improving rider feel, but improving curb appeal is a key focus of the Rizoma catalog.

Motostrano has been selling Rizoma parts since they became available in the USA many years ago.

All of these supermoto fenders are universal. In other words, they’ll fit just about any bike, if you want them to. Each fender requires that you have some basic drill skills and be able to cut mounting holes into the plastic that line up with your fender mounts on your motorcycle.

Each maker of plastic makes their product to match OEM coloring as far as plastic goes. This means you don’t have to worry about matching up colors, though XR650 owners and Blue DRZ owners will find the colors only slightly off from stock. Hey from 10 feet away and at 50MPH everything matches.

Buying a Supermoto fenders is the easiest purchase you’ll make to convert your supermoto. Motostrano has the goods and they stock all brands, in all colors. They’re also always on sale over there!

ADV riders need a durable luggage system that allows them to take as much stuff with them as they can, but still be able to withstand the brutality of world travel, all-climates, and all weather. Further, space is limited and in an ideal world, this luggage could be multipurpose, allowing it to be removed quickly and easily while camping, or hiking etc.

ICON’s dropped another gear bomb on the motorcycle industry with their Fall line-up of new stuff that you’ll start to buy this fall and next spring. ICON’s done it again with some killer looking jackets, boots, pants and gloves for men and women.

The ICON Brawnson jacket fits the classic bill look and the Sidewinder version of it is color coded for the American VTWIN market and we’re totally buying it.

ICON has improved with age. The company has refined its tools and sharpened it knives over the years, to the point that, if you set the ICON package next to a lot of other major brands, ICON has their shit together, so speak. Others, not so much.

Focused, purpose built, flashy, not whimpering in the corner, ICON feels at home. And it should because it’s a brand designed for and in the American United States. Which, as an American myself, makes me feel quite good, that we still know how to make some kick ass stuff, particularly motorcycle clothing, though these are still labeled “imported”, meaning – made in China. Still, the finished product is distinctly American and something Im happy to see disseminated and exported around the world.

In fact, if I were any other brand of motorcycle clothing, I might be shaking in my boots about things like these boots here- the ICON Reign Waterproof Boots can easily go head to head with any major european waterproof boot for a few dollars less.

Of the five ICON helmets to hit the stage this year, I like the ICON Guardian Airframe helmet the most and motostrano.com hopes to sell lots of them.

ICON says

“Icon wanted to honor the heroic men and women in the United States Armed Forces with a symbolic helmet graphic. Illustrated by Tanner, the depicted Guardian Angel supports our soldiers in her unwavering vigilance. Proudly carried by Icon’s flagship helmet shell – the Airframe – the Guardian is a sincere and heartfelt thank you to our brave and heroic American soldiers from a grateful American motosports company. “

The ICON Sacred Tall Boots – a new womens boot from ICON based on the previously released low version.

The ICON VICTORY HARD LUCK jacket is a limited edition thrill-seekers leather jacket full of attitude and detail. For sale for $777

The ICON Brawnson Overpants are a new overpant from ICON. All season use.

ICON PDX Waterproof Gloves are a low cost water proof glove for you wet weather riding pleasure.

ICON Women’s Heartbreaker jacket. Killer looks. Cool patches. Nice price.

Motostrano is once again living up to its name, offering motorcyclists unique motorcycle products not found anywhere else, this time once again introducing GIMOTO’s line of off the rack and custom motorcycle clothing and race suits to the American riding public.

Built for speed and style, Gimoto clothing are made in their small factory in Northern Italy.

Motostrano first began importing GIMOTO leathers in 2003, showcasing the product at the US Dealer Show in Indianapolis as well as the USGP at Laguna Seca that same year.

Once again, American motorcyclists can order up Gimoto;s cowhide

Gimoto products are now available at Motostrano.com

and kangaroo leather race suits, jackets and gloves in the United States, have them custom measured and delivered all in a matter of weeks.

The complete 2011 line-up of Gimoto is now available on the Motostrano.com web site.

The customization options of a Gimoto suit are infinite. Thanks to Gimoto’s fine sense of style and design, owners are able to customize their suits on a level that is absolutely on par with anything a full sponsored racer can garner at a world class motorcycle clothing brand. Ride a green kawasaki? Ring up Motostrano and have them do up a green and black custom race suit with logos and sponsors kits. Own an MV Agusta Brutale? Sweet, then become one with your bike and get some Gimoto leathers in Red and Silver. KTM RC8? No problem. Black and orange for you.

There’s no limit.
