• Style- does that jacket fit “my style of riding”, or, to put it better, does it fit the style of riding I aspire to. Will it make me a better rider?
• Color- you wouldn’t think that grown men spend time color coordinating their motorcycle gear with their motorcycle. You’d think this was too akin to the art of interior design. But, we do. And we use really complicated color theories too, like mating a yellow jacket with a yellow bike, or making sure we buy a blue helmet if we have a blue bike.
• Fit- does this thing actually fit over my constantly expanding waistline? Remember, motorcycling is only sort of a sport unless you are a racer, sportbike freak or track day enthusiast. It’s just like riding a bicycle except with a 900CC motor attached to it. Many motorcyclists are unfortunately out of shape.
• Venting- how well does this jacket actually vent? Is it perforated? Does it offer venting zippers, both intake, both exhaust?
• Is the jacket lined? The last think we motorcyclists like is bare leather rubbing our nipples.
